Well, I finally started another weight loss journey. I’m using my usual of counting calories because, as I have said before, the only way to lose weight is to eat less than you burn. I calculate my caloric need by multiplying my desired weight by 10. I’m using 180 lbs for now so 1800 calories is what my limit is for any day.
As a bit of interesting trivia, I did a search in the last few days and found that the average caloric intake for those in the US is about 3600 calories which would put most on the track of getting to about 360 lbs. I was at 325 the last time I got weighed at my doctor’s which was up from the previous visit. I’ll let you know when I get weighed again what the results are.
Take care… The bottom line is if anyone wants to lose weight they have to figure out a way that works for them on how to track what you eat and limiting it. As a suggestion the average meal has about 600 calories so you could limit yourself to two or three meals a day.
Onward…
